Forefront Church launched in March of 2009 with a handful of people to help people find their way back to God. That was the vision of our church from day one. Since then, that vision has remained the same as our church has seen countless stories of life-change in the southwest Denver metro area.
In early 2015, God provided what we refer to as the Million Dollar Miracle. Forefront had been looking for it’s first “home” for years. Through a long and complex series of events, God put us in touch with a church with a rich heritage a few miles away. After almost 60 years of vibrant ministry, the church right off of Harvey Park in southwest Denver decided to merge with the passion and vision of Forefront to further fuel the dream of helping people find their way back to God. It’s an older building that’s in the process of being renovated. We kind of like to think that we’re doing exactly what God does – takes old things and makes them new, takes broken things and makes them whole, and takes empty things and fills them back up.
We are a church with a revolutionary faith and we’ve seen God do things that only He can do – hundreds of lives changed, marriages restored, families healed and hearts made new and whole. And as God continues to increase our platform, we are aggressively pursuing opportunities to reach more and more people with the life-saving message of the Gospel in both our city and our world.
Through the use of preaching, worship and creativity, we strive to present the timeless message of Jesus Christ in a clear and fresh way. And although our approach to church is anything but traditional, we believe in and maintain a conservative theological position. However, for those who prefer a traditional worship experience, we have a hymn service on Sunday mornings with a very traditional style.
