Bible Study Tools
Here’s a few tools that might help you in your personal journey with God.
- Our favorite place to start is over at YouVersion.com. They have hundreds of different plans to choose from. Just create a FREE account and you can read on your computer or your smartphone. Keeps track as you read. This is our favorite. Special thanks to our friends at LifeChurch.tv for making this (and many, many other) resources available for other churches … for FREE!
- Here’s a downloadable set of 4 bookmarks for your Bible. They’re from our friends over at Bethlehem Baptist Church who used the framework from Discipleship Journal. If you spend a lot of time in your Bible, these bookmarks are king. 5 extra days per month to catch up on reading.
- Topical Memory System. Here’s one that the staff spent most of 2009 getting a head start with. We’re memorizing one verse every other week on Sunday mornings, so download the file, print & cut them out, and carry the cards with you. 60 verses in just over two years! Thanks to our friends at the Navigators for this one.
- In the fall of 2011, God called our congregation to read the entire New Testament in 10 weeks. You can use our Thru In 10 reading plan to get it done.
There are so many other great Bible resources available online. Email Pastor Brett if you need more ideas!
