December at Forefront

– STARTING SUNDAY, DECEMBER 3RD –

We have an uncanny knack for limited perception. What’s in front of us at the moment easily occupies our attention. It’s hard to get past the surface and discover what really matters. This Christmas let’s look beyond the gifts and decorations to discover the Presence of Jesus … God with us!

A new series is always a great opportunity to invite friends and family to join you. And we’ve found that a personal invite is the best method. So grab some invite cards from the Info Center at church, share our posts on social media or simply tell someone the next time you see them. We can’t wait to see you and your guest for “Christmas Presence.”

HOLIDAY MOVIE NIGHT

We’re kicking off the Christmas season with a fun gathering to watch one of our favorite holiday films, “ELF.” All are welcome to this event! We’ll provide popcorn and drinks, we just ask that you invite a friend and maybe bring a pillow, or blanket, or two. Be sure to come a little early to snag a prime movie-watching spot.

UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER SUNDAY

We know you’ve been waiting all year to wear that glitter-infused, overly-bedazzled, and ornament-adorned garment oozing with Christmas cheer. So we set up a special day for you to sport your ugly Christmas sweater with pride. We’re also going to have a photo booth set up to capture all the fun!

COOKIES AND CAROLING

We’re going to stay nice and warm while enjoying the sweet melodies that Christmas brings. All vocal skills welcome! We’re also adding cookies to the mix to entice your sweet tooth. If you’d like, you can bring your own favorite cookies to share. We hope you’ll invite a friend to join you for this fun holiday tradition.
Gather up the family and join us on Christmas Eve for one of two identical worship experiences! The evening will be filled with music, videos, a Biblically-based message and other special elements. Plus we’ll provide a fun, age-appropriate environment for your kiddos ages zero to four. Since we will be gathering together that evening, we will not have any morning worship experiences.
